Formed in January 2019, Ten24 are an indie-alternative rock band from Wellington, New Zealand. The band has been moving at a sprint ever since, taking out the People's Choice Award at Smokefree Rockquest 2019, playing at the fabled Wellington underground venue Lovelands, and headlining Valhalla in October 2019. Ten24 are releasing their debut single, 'Blissful Affliction', on May 22nd 2020.
The band's lineup is Lauren Davies on vocals, Dom Whipps on guitar, Jay Kenyon on bass, and Ben McHardy on drums and backing vocals. Endeavouring to create original music that speaks to each member's tastes and sensibilities, Ten24 cast a wide musical net, bringing different genres and subtleties into their repertoire with each new song. Staples of their sound include an endearing female vocal, energetic guitar riffs and melodies, tight bass lines and a driving drum style.
