Lovelands Boombox - Saturday 7th November

Its time to fill the Lovelands airspace with onomatopoeia. That’s right boom, bang, crack, squeal, hiss… BANG its boombox time so come celebrate fireworks season with us at Lovelands. Where the only thing hotter than the fireworks is the bands we have playing! Click here to see the hot hot hot line up that will be will explode from the stage with the smallest spark on the fuse!

Elwoood: 8pm
Elwood is a four-piece guitar based indie-rock band from Wellington and first timers to the Lovelands shed. Described as a true indie-garage sound with loud guitars and big drums these guys will kick the night of with a crack

Gentlemen Bastards: 9pm
The good old reliable bastards are back again. They are the double-happy in your arsenal. Loud and obnoxious but completely necessary

Darkwater: 10pm
The explosive trio from the ‘Naki are back, sparks will fly as these masters lay their soundscapes down with a gritty, gripping heaviness that enfolds melody.

Feral: 11pm
Existing in the swamps of manawatu, Feral are a 3 piece band that like to put a punk spin on their music. Known for raising hell and doin it for a feed of greasies. Theses guys are your cousin who brings his ‘homemade’ fireworks.

This promises to be great night so add some fireworks to your BYO order and get along to the Lovelands BOOM BOX!!

As always there will be raffles on the night and the mystical drinks machine is full of cool refreshing beverages to cool down any burns you may acquire.
